Buying insurance can be complicated, but it really shouldn’t be. So we’ve set out to do things differently – create a bit of a buzz if you like…Who are Hive Insurance Services?
Since 2003, we’ve been obsessed with one thing – and that’s making vital insurance simple and accessible to all. And we do this for a good reason – so more people can better protect their lives, making them feel safe, secure and happy.
How do we work?
We place you, the client, at the centre of everything we do. We do this by listening to your needs before providing you with tailor-made advice.
We complete a “factfind” with you, which captures all of the key information about your circumstances and requirements.
After this, we provide you with recommendations on the types of insurance plan that will meet your needs, and we guide you through the various options available. There is never any pressure to take out a policy after receiving our advice – you are encouraged to make your own decision.
Who do we help?
Our advisers are based throughout Ireland, from Kerry, Cork and Kilkenny, to Cavan and Galway. They can speak to you over the phone, online and face to face. Given the challenging circumstances we find ourselves in today, many clients like to talk to us via Zoom calls or WhatsApp. We’re more than happy to speak to you however you prefer.

About our team
All of our advisers are professionally qualified, holding qualifications from the main regulatory bodies of the Life Insurance Association (LIA) and the Insurance Institute of Ireland (III). Our advisers also take additional qualifications to become highly specialised in certain areas of insurance. Within our team you will find particular expertise in areas such as personal general insurance, commercial insurance, life assurance and pensions.
What’s more, our specialisms cover the types of clients we deal with on a daily basis. We have advisers who focus on individual customers and their families, others who focus on company schemes, and we also work closely with the equine sector, helping all those who work with and/or ride horses. We have Polish and Russian speaking advisers too, so we have a broad range of skills available to help with many different circumstances.
And to retain their high standards, all of our advisers complete CPD hours to meet the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code (MCC), so you can be assured that when you deal with us, you’re getting first class advice and service, as well as ongoing support for the long term.
